  • Baritone

    Baritone is the most common range of the male voice pitched between the tenor and bass at notes between G2-G4 easily covered by the vocalist.
  • Bass

    Bass describes the deepest male voice type with the lowest vocal range at notes between E2-E4.
  • Contralto

    The contralto term is used for the female alto range, which is the lowest female voice with a vocal range between F3-F5.
  • Countertenor

    The countertenor on the other hand describes the male alto range, a male voice of high vocal range of E3-E5 oftentimes achieved through falsetto technique.
  • Mezzo-soprano

    Mezzo-soprano describes the female voice range between soprano and alto with a vocal range of A3-A5.
  • Soprano

    The term soprano is used for the highest pitched vocal range for female voices at notes between C4-C6.
  • Tenor

    Tenor describes the highest of the ordinary adult male voice range with notes from C3-C5.
